It is the tenant's responsibility to look after any appliances belonging to the property, and that includes general maintenance, such as the cleaning of the washing machine and tumble dryer filters and changing the fuses.
NO POWER TO THE APPLIANCE:
If you find that there is no power coming to the appliance at all, then it is most likely that the plug fuse has blown. Please carefully follow the advice shown here to replace the fuse: https://www.rospa.com/home-safety/uk/northern-ireland/electricity/plugs-fuses/replacing-fuses/
Blockages, Water Leaks, etc.:

Tumble Dryers: It is vitally important that you empty the lint trap on your tumble dryer after every single use, as lint is highly flammable. The following link will show you how to clean the various traps and filters on an average tumble dryer: Cleaning the filters on a tumble dryer
Please always follow the instructions in the user manual. If you do not have a copy of the manual, please carry out a simple google search for the make and model of your appliance followed by "user manual" - for instance, "Beko MC342 User Manual" and 9 times out of 10 you'll find an online copy of the manual within seconds.
Remember, if you report an issue to us and it turns out to be something that you should have done yourself or it is something that is caused by your (or your visitors) actions or failure to act, then you will be liable for the contractor charges.
